Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets

My layout "Shine & Be Happy"

I've used the 

Shine, Sparkle, Happy word set

The chippies received a cot of white gesso, then I coloured them with Distress Crayons.

Once dry, I covered the top half with washi tape and used nuvo "Gold" embossing powder on the bottom.

Other elements on this page include Heidi Swapp Minc foiling, Cocoa Vanilla Studio and distress crayon background.

This collection suits me perfectly - I love the bright colours and the patterns.

Turquoise is also my go to colour at the moment so I love the combination with the orange and purple.

Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets

My layout "Love You"

I've used the
Love You chipboard
and the
Doily frame large.

The doily frame has been given a coat of white gesso and then coloured with the Tim Holtz Distress Crayons - I decided not to cover it with embossing powder and leave it "Raw".

The Love You has been treated with Colour Blast "Sunshine" embossing powder x 2 but probably should have had a coat of gesso first as it's not very "yellow".

Kraft + May challenge - "Hello Beautiful" scrapbook layout

Today I'm sharing a layout created for the May challenge at

Kraft +

My Layout "Hello Beautiful"

This month the challenge was to create outside the box.

Translation - No square photos!

Now I thought about the easy ones first and discarded the circle and the triangle.

Eventually settling on something with a cut file - the star!



I choose blue as my colour focus to match the photo.

I made my background with acrylic paint and an empty toilet roll!!!

My layout "Follow your Heart"

I'd previously used this cut file and had the leftovers adhered to this beautiful Heidi Swapp "Magnolia Jane" 12x12 paper - I hunted around for a chipboard to perfectly match my page.

I've used the

Follow your heart chipboard

The Nuvo gold embossing powder was a little rough (I think I burnt it - whoops) - but I kind or like the grungy feel with the soft background.

Today I've got a 9x12 layout to share for Scrapbook Boutique 

"Explore"

This layout is created using the Bella Blvd "Make your Mark collection.



I was instantly drawn to the bright rainbow pallete of this collection.
This layout is a clean and simple page with no mediums added - very unusual for me.
I really wanted to let the collection speak for itself and feel it didn't need anything added!

123 Challenge Blog - May "Family Day Out" Scrapbook layout

My Layout "Family Day Out"

This months challenge was to use Teal, include the word "Family" and encorporate "Stencilling"
.

My layout features a stencil used two ways - I've used Distress ink and foam pad in some sections and in the alternate sections I've used Colour Blast paste in "Envy".

Some elements also from the Kaisercraft "Wildflower" collection and some stash items.

Teal is one of my favourite colours - love how this one turned out!

My Layout "Hello gorgeous"

I wasn't quite sure what papers to start with for this collection, so I grabbed what was on my desk.

It turned out to be Cocoa Vanilla Studio "Wild at Heart collection".

I started to play around with some papers and elements and was loving the direction it was going.

Now to find a photo ...

First place I go is always my photo stash.

I found this one and felt it was just right!

Really pleased with how this one turned out.

CAS with no mediums added - a real challenge for me.

Today I'm sharing my take on the
Kaisercraft May blog challenge

My Layout "Moments"

This month we were given this bingo inspiration.

I chose the top horizontal row - PDC.

I've used paint, damask and collectables on my page!



I chose the Ubud Dreams collection as I started with Sea Breeze paint.

I created the border with the damask stencil around the outside of the white cardstock.

This layout also features flowers created using the Silhouette Cameo.
