Round 1 Bo Bunny Design Team call submission

Hi Scrap Friends

The news is out ... I made it to Round 2 of the Bo Bunny Design Team Call.
Yay, Yay, Yay.

Honestly, who doesn't dream of creating for a company that has such a fabulous array
of products? It's the Scrappers ultimate goal - well mine anyway!

Congratulations to my fellow Aussie Amy Little and best of luck to the other 37 Round 2 finalists.

To celebrate, I thought I would share my project submissions.
Enjoy
and as always, comments are welcome!

A mixed media canvas:

An example of my work in mixed media that's never been featured on my blog.
I created this piece for a local art competition to try and bring
mixed media art into the main stream art world.
When creating mixed media pieces I like to make them beautiful and inspiring!

One extra project (because I couldn't decide which ones to submit)

Can't wait to get started on my Round 2 projects.

Show us your stuff May challenge scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout created for the May challenge at Show us your stuff.

My Layout "Darling"

This month the team challenged us to use:

So how could I resist choosing a picture of DH & I!

I went to my good old friend google and found this fabulous poem.

I'm constantly telling him "Happy wife, Happy life" and
he likes to tell me I'm always right (OK, so mostly I am :)
so it was very appropriate.

Thanks for visiting.

Bo Bunny May Sketch Challenge scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout I created for the Bo Bunny monthly challenge.

My Layout "Easter"

Here is the inspiration sketch.

I definitely found it challenging, as it's very outside my normal scrapping style

I've used elements and papers from Baby Bump and Believe collections.
I love how these two collections work so well together.

I've chosen photos of my boys at Easter, this was the first year they have really been able
to understand and enjoy themselves.
Such a wonderful memory of their excitement.

I love how this turned out.

More than Words May challenge - scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout created for the May challenge at

My Layout "First Fishing Trip"

I've been struggling lately with my desire to get messy with mixed media and find that
when I do get to do a MM page, I'm always attracted to dark colours!

For this months challenge:

I wanted to use lighter, brighter colours.

I love this photo of Master C, all decked out ready to go fishing on Australia Day.

Thanks for visiting.

D-Lish Scraps May JAP Kit double page scrapbook layout "Park"

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing my take on the May challenge at D-Lish Scraps

My Layout "Park"

Double layout Left side

Double Layout right side

Inspired by the "Tranquil Pools" moodboard and Just Add Paper (JAP) Kit.

I've taken the sketch and turned it into a double layout.

My scrapping goal at the moment is to scrap more of the every day moments in our lives.
I find looking back at my albums that it's full of beautiful pages but the memory keeping aspect
has slowly dwindled away.

So that's how I chose my pictures.
I also felt the photos really matched the moodboard quite well without blending in too much.

I used Picasa to edit my photos and create a photo collage.
Additional items not in the JAP kit are:

- texture paste
- washi tape
- acrylic paint

--- Scrapbook Boutique DT --- 17th May layout + process video Echo Park Petticoats & Pinstripes - One layout, Two ways

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I have a layout to share using the Echo Park "Petticoats & Pinstripes" collection from

I've gone with something a little different and done the same layout two different ways!

Layout 1 "Play"

Layout 2 "Let's Play"

The second layout has some more mixed media and dimension added.

Firstly, I've used another sketch from Sketch Savvy

Then I've added some watered down acrylic paint with the packaging technique and
added some more layers and pieces to the cluster.

Finally, if you'd like to watch how I completed these layout, here's the process video.
