This layout started as an experiment with background and when it looked good, I started to add elements.
First was the chipboard - A Photo is a moment captured
I've given it a coat of Colour Blast "Sunshine"
Other elements on the page are washi tape, paper cut outs, doily's and elements from Charms Creations.
I just adore this collection from Simple Stories.
I decided to team it in a simple paper based layout with the Spotty Circles Set
Firstly I've given the chipboard a coat of black gesso.
Then with gel medium and a fine paint brush, I've painted the circles and sprinkled glitter over the top.
To finish, I've given the whole chipboard a coat of spray gloss sealer so that the glitter will hold.
I would normally use white cardstock background, so to challenge my creativity, I started with black cardstock and added some splatters in Colour Blast Shimmer Spray "Bling".
For something else a little interesting, before I attached the white & pink striped paper, I stitched it with black cotton. Then the outside of the black cardstock with white cotton. Giving a lovely two tone effect.
We'd love to see your creations inspired by our October moodboard.
Here is my layout "Dream Big"
With such a feminine moodboard, how could I not scrap a picture of myself.
I cut the Dream Big title using the Silhouette Cameo and mounted it onto gold glitter cardstock.
This page is lovely and simple with some Colour Blast paste in "Bling" through a stencil, paper cluster and flowers.
Here is the process video to see how I created this page ...

I usually use my limited time for Scrapbooking DT projects, but this page I created just for fun.
I loved it so much, I thought I'd do a second page opposite.
Here is the original ...
featuring Colour Paste Royalty & Colour Paste Bling
To recreate the page, I gathered similar supplies:
- 12x12 white cardstock
- 12x12 patterned paper
- doilly, flair, Charms Creations heart, washi tape and title
I've trimmed my paper by removing 1 3/4" off two sides.
Adhere to the cardstock and then tear the washi tape down the middle and lay under the outside edges of the patterned paper.
I've used a spatula to spread messy lines of Colour paste Bling.
Allow to dry naturally before adding second Colour Paste Envy
While the paste is drying, I've added Colour Embossing Powder first in Envy and then with a Snow White for a little extra sparkle.
Finally, I've added the embellishments and stickers to finish the page.
I love how these look side by side in the album and how easy they are to create.
