--- White with ... 1 --- June Scrapbook layout "Love"

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook layout created for the challenge over at

White with ... 1

My layout "Love"

This month the team challenged us to create white on white with the colour

"Whisper"

So I started with white cardstock - easy!

Then I pulled out a doily for texture and then raided my embellishment box - which are all sorted by colour. So I grabbed some white hearts, the love word and the feather.

Next I had to find the photo ... I couldn't go past this one from our wedding - 10 years ago!!!!!

I used a Kinder Kreations Spring Bouquet Stencil stencil with the Crafters Workshop "Shimmery Goodness" paste to create more interest and texture.

I'm so pleased with how this layout turned out and it took less than an hour!

Today I'm sharing a layout for the November challenge over at
Off the Rails Scrapbooking.

My layout "Loving Life"

This month we'd like to inspire you with this "Boho" themed moodboard.

Straight up ... this was really hard for me!
I'm definitely not a fan of the boho and I'm more a brights/bold kind of person.

So I did a little googling of "boho" and discovered arrows, florals and feathers.
Next I looked for a photo and decided this would be a good opportunity to scrap a picture of myself.

Finally I've gotten into my stash and put together this page.

It's challenge time over at Scrapbook Boutique.

My layout "2018 Fun"

This year we've changed up the moodboards a little and for February we want to see your inspiration from this board ... designed by me :)



As with any moodboard, we want you to be inspired by any or all of the images.

My inspiration came from overall colour theme, black and white + gold.

I used this cute little collection from Simple Stories.



My background features the new Distress Crayons "Metallic"

A little background on the photo, my friends and I dressed up in fluro colours for a 90's night.

Lots of fun.

I love how the collection made it so easy to put the page together.

My Layout "Today"

The challenge this month is to create from the inspiration board and include feathers on your page.

I decided to use this collage photo and turquoise colours from the moodboard.

In my process video you'll find a little technique to make these arrow feathers.

Welcome to November! My first share for you this month is the challenge at

Off the Rails Scrapbooking

My layout "Party Time"

Seriously, what's not to love about this month's moodboard?!?

I immediately wanted to include all the colours and a feather embellishment.

I made my background by using Tim Holtz Distress crayons over a gessoed (is that a word??) white background.

I've teamed the bright, busy coloured stripes with silver to help break up this layout.

I hand stitched the black circle in the background and layered some textural materials, flowers and chipboards to enhance the page.

I love how the bright colours of the photos are a great match for the background.
