The trouble with "Titles" on scrapbook pages ...

I seem to have a problem titling my pages. So I challenged myself to pick lettering and then scrap my page around the title. 

These letters came from a local discount store and I've never known what to use them on. 

Here's what I came up with. 

CM papers, gesso, cricut cutout, ink, adirondack colour wash espresso, PC journaling, embellishment stickers and rub ons.

I saw a layout similar to this and thought it was something I could have a go at. I'm loving the combination of purple and brown at the moment. 

The black also highlights the picture. 

I used a patterned paper with some white gesso spread in a circle. Sewed on some silver card stock. Then layered with purple stamps and purple texture paste. Purple and green scraps of paper. Some flicks and splodges of brown paint. Dry wall tape. And finished with black twine and card stock cut outs using the cricut machine.

A project redo

This is a page I had completed years ago but never really liked. I'm much happier with the outcome after editing today. Same papers with some layering and texture paste with a cute journaling tag and twine added. 

As I get better at the whole blogging thing, I'll share more info on products used.

I did it.

I created a blog. I've been watching blogs for years and thought it was time I had my own place to share.

The idea of this blog is to share my works of craft, musings as a busy working mum of twin boys and any other goodies I come across.

Now I just need to work out how to upload a photo?
