Father's Day mixed media page

I saw a layout similar to this and thought it was something I could have a go at. I'm loving the combination of purple and brown at the moment. 

The black also highlights the picture. 

I used a patterned paper with some white gesso spread in a circle. Sewed on some silver card stock. Then layered with purple stamps and purple texture paste. Purple and green scraps of paper. Some flicks and splodges of brown paint. Dry wall tape. And finished with black twine and card stock cut outs using the cricut machine.
