--- Scrapbook Boutique DT --- "Happy" Scrapbook layout + process video

 Hi Scrap Friends

Today I've got a layout to share for Scrapbook Boutique

"Happy"

To complete this page, I've had a little play around with the Colour Blast Shimmer pot.

Available at

I also included my new favorite stamp - and a stencil teamed with Colour Blast paste.

The wood veneer piece is from Cocoa Vanilla Studio - I love these - they are so easy to use as titles.

I've turned my journalling sideways for something a little different.

A simple cluster featuring paper banners and a doily helps lift the photo off the background.

--- A2Z Scraplets DT --- "Favorite Place" Scrapbook Layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets

My layout "Favorite Place"

This layout started with the brick circles.

I'd recently used Colour Blast sprays on a stencil and afterwards, I tipped the stencil over onto white cardstock and this is what was left.
I cut the card into these circles and used them for the background.

I've used the
Favorite Place word

First I gave it a coat of crackle paste.
When the crackle had dried, I used Colour Blast Spray in "Caribbean" and smudged Tim Holtz Distress Crayon into the crackle too.

I chose a plain paper background and hand drew the circles through a stencil - to continue with my circle theme!

I've also added a
Scribble Circle Frame
treated with black ink to help finish the page off.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

--- Colour Blast DT --- Scrapbook Layout "Sweet"

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout created for

"Sweet"

For this page you will need:

Colour Paste Snow White
Shimmer Dust Navy
Embossing Powder Bling

I've started by choosing a background paper and stencil.
The idea for this page was to use the "Snow White" paste as a resist.

I've used the stencil fully on the right of the page and partially on the left.

I let the paste dry naturally and LOVE that beautiful sparkly shimmer!

I've used the Navy colour shimmer dust - mixed with lots of water.

Then with a piece of ordinary old cling wrap (rolled into a ball) pick up the Navy coloured water and spread onto the page.

Repeat the process until the desired colour effect is reached.
I've used paper towel to remove some of the colour so that you can still see the paste.

With the left over Navy use a brush to add some splatters.

I chose a wood veneer piece and coloured it with the Navy shimmer dust.

Allow to dry naturally and then cover one half with old washi tape.

I covered the wood in Bling colour embossing powder.
Heat set and added a second coat.

Peel back the washi tape and you get a lovely two toned title.

I'd already chosen this small 3x4 photo so as not to cover up too much of the Colour Blast background.

I've built a small cluster using Navy and Gold to coordinate with my layout.

Happy Scrapping!

D-Lish Scraps August challenge Entries - Scrapbook layouts

Hi Scrap Friends

This month I challenged myself to create for FUN!

In other words, I spend a lot of time creating for DT commitments and sometimes I just want to make pretty pages.

So I joined the challenges at D-Lish Scraps.

First - the moodboard and JAP (Just add paper) kit.

The JAP had a cool brick wall die cut, so I used that as inspiration for my background.
I also included some mud splatters with the sweet stencil and some Colour Blast paste in 'Leather"

Honesty ...

I could not think of anything for this one.
I even was going to do something along the lines of "This time last year"
but it just wasn't me.
I'm really a "fly by the seat of my pants" person and I don't make "plans".
If your reading this .. Nicolee please don't be offended that I didn't complete your challenge.
"It's not you, it's me."

--- A2Z Scraplets DT --- "Beautiful" scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets

My layout "Beautiful"

For this page I've used the
and treated it first with a coat of gesso then two coats of Colour Blast embossing powder in "Apple of my Eye"

For my background I've chosen this water colour paper and enhanced it with Colour Blast paste in "Apple of my eye" spread with a spatula.

I've also added some stamped circles + embossing powder and hand drawn circles + inks platters.

To finish this page I've added a couple of banners but left my embellishing minimal to allow the large chipboard title and background work to emphasize the photo.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.
