Scrapbooking layout for Deer & Fawn and The Scrapbook Boutique July Challenges

Hello Scrap Friends

I'm sharing a layout I created using inspiration from

I really should have read the Deer & Fawn challenge closer...

I thought you had to copy Tammy's FAWN

F - Feathers
A - Arrows
W - Washi
N - Notepaper

So that's what I did. LOL
(You actually could use whatever you liked as long as it spelt FAWN)

Anyway, here's my layout:

The colour inspiration came from The Scrapbook boutiques delicious cupcake
aqua & pink - Yum

Well that brings us to the end of July.
I'm looking forward to a long weekend of scrapbooking and all new challenges tomorrow.

Scrapping Outback July Challenge

Hello Scrap Friends

Today I'm dropping by to share a layout that I created using the
Scrapping Outback July Inspiration photo.

Scrapping Outback asked us to do something a little different with chipboard this month.
I've used Dusty Attic Stars and covered with Gesso
before stamping (more stars) and heat embossing with silver.

My colours seem quite muted in the picture but are brighter on the page.
I've also teamed my pinks & orange with silver as the glass really jumped out at me.

Thanks for visiting.
Comments are always welcome!

Off the Rails Scrapbooking - July Moodboard reveal Mixed Media layout

Hello Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout I created using the July Moodboard at

"Not my little man anymore"

Here is the inspiration moodboard:

This layout was inspired by all those fabulous colours. Green, red, yellow & stone.

I've started with some freehand gesso and then layered modelling paste, inks, washi tape and paper.

Final touches include some great Imaginarium Chipboard and Charms.

Here are some close ups.

Check back in at the end of July to see my video tutorial and layout

Kraft + July Challenge - Mustard Explosion Scrapbooking Layout "Camp Bath"

Hello Scrap Friends

I've finally joined instagram!!!
Please visit and follow to see photos and sneak peeks of upcoming pages.
Link to the right.

This post however, is to share my layout for Kraft + July Challenge.

Before I share, I'm going to admit that I was seriously intimidated by
the quality of work from the DT and the other followers!

But ...

I was also really inspired, there are so many talented creative people out there.

Here is my layout "Camp Bath"

I chose this photo as the bucket we used had that mustard kind of colour to it.
And I just couldn't resist that cheeky face on Master C.

For my background, I've mixed yellow paint with modelling paste and layered through a stencil.
Then highlighted areas with black watercolour pencil.
Added some cotton wrapping, an embellishment cluster, photo & done!
I'm loving the Kaisercraft Basics Kraft range at the moment.

Be sure to visit Kraft + to see all of the other awesome layouts that have been completed!

Thanks for visiting.

123 Challenge Blog Scrapbooking Layout "Cuteness"

Hello Scrap Friends

Sickness has dominated my home for the last fortnight, hence the lack of scrapbooking blog posts.

I've managed to take time out today and have a page to share below.

Here is my layout for 123 Challenge Blog.

"Cuteness"

The inspiration picture is below.
I'm going to admit, I found this very challenging (I know that's why they call it a challenge!!!).
I'm not a fan of fluro colours and I can't say I'm particularly impressed with my layout and I may have another go at this one.
