Kraft + September sketch scrapbooking layout + process video "Precious Moments"

Hello Scrap Friends

Today I'm pleased to share a layout I completed using the Kraft + September sketch.

I went just a little bit triangle crazy on this layout but I think the effect is really cool.

My Layout "Precious Memories"

I love Kraft + challenges. The sketch this months was really fun to work with.

Current Challenge

One of my goals for 2015 was to start providing more process videos.

It's taken me a little bit of time to get my set-up sorted but I'm closer to ticking this off my list!

Thanks for visiting.

Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia September challenge layout using Kaisercraft Time Machine

Hello Scrap Friends

Today's layout share is for Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia

"Henry"

Here is the inspiration:

I've gone with tearing, stenciling and strip journalling
(although I'll leave my interpretation of strip journalling
to the discrection of the team at Scrapbooking Top 50 Aus)

I have to admit, I really enjoyed this challenge but
found it a little difficult as I had too many choices.

I've used the Kaisercraft Time Machine collection for this page and
am working on a series of layouts recording the men in my family.
Keep an eye out for them.

Thanks for stopping by.

Scrapping Outback September challenge layout "Totally Silly"

Hi Scrap Friends

I'm sharing another layout today. This one created for Scrapping Outback.

My Layout "Totally Silly"

There is another delicious inspiration image:

It's such a pretty colour combination of green and yellow.

This picture of Master C is hilarious and was perfect for this fun, bright layout.

The challenge is to use a white background, the inspiration pic colours and chipboard.
I was lucky enough to get this great piece of chipboard from Scrapping Outback
so I've covered it in white embossing powder and layered it on this page.

I've made my background by layering gelato, acrylic paint, washi tape & modelling paste.

Thanks for visiting.

It's been a busy weekend in my craft space.
Lots of layouts being done - now just to find time to blog them.

Today's share is for the Show us your stuff challenge blog.

Loving the new range from Kaisercraft.

I've used papers from Kaisercraft "Touch of Gold" range and a few scraps from my stash.
Bo Bunny gold glitter paste, Diamontes, collectables and of course
a Charms Creations Arrow.

Here's some close ups:

Scrapping Clearly September Mood Board Layout

Hello Scrap Friends

I've been spending quite a bit of time in my craft room lately and
am pleased to share another completed layout.

This time inspired by the September moodboard at Scrapping Clearly

"My Dad"

Here are some close ups:

Scrapping Clearly have provided this beautiful moodboard.
I'm sure you can "sea" how I've been inspired :)

I really struggled to move this layout from the vision I saw in my head to the page.
I was instantly drawn to he nautical theme and knew
that I wanted to complete a layout of my Dad & his boating history.

I picked the photo's and gathered some colours and supplies
but just couldn't get the layout to come together.

It sat on my desk for a few days, adding layers and changing things,
but eventually I finished it off.

It's definitely growing on me and I love the memory!

Deer & Fawn Designs - September Challenge Scrapbooking Layout

Hello Scrap Friends

Thanks for visiting today.
This layout is inspired by the September challenge set by Deer & Fawn Designs.
I really love their challenges as they are something unusual and it really gets my creativity flowing.
I was also lucky enough to win their August challenge and the prize was so very generous.

Anyway the challenge for September was to scrap monochromatic with Orange!

My layout "Love This"

While scouring the shelves of my local craft store, I came across this awesome orange paper.

I instantly knew what I wanted to do with this layout.

Here are some close ups.

I've used some really cool chipboard and simply painted it with Orange acrylic.

With the modelling paste, I used the Kaisercraft diamond stencil and spread the paste through it. Then I took my spatula and slapped it up and down on the paste (still in the stencil).
It gave this really messy, textured, crinkled look.

Thanks for visiting.

Jot Magazine September Moodboard scrapbooking layout challenge "Love Today"

Hello Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout I created using the Jot Magazine September moodboard.

"Love Today"

Initially when I saw this moodboard:

I thought it would be really easy.
However putting together my layout turned out to be a little trickier than I first thought.

I started with a lovely pearl cardstock and added some water colour to it.
Followed by some stamping, paper, layers and journalling.

I'm still not sure I'm happy with the layout but
it's definitely something different to my normal creations
so I'm putting it down to a learning experience.

Thanks for stopping by.
