I've used the most fabulous Cocoa Vanilla Studio "You Rock" collection.

The inspiration for this page came from the colours in the photo and the "You Rock" flair.

 

You'll also find some Tim Holtz Distress Ink and Colour Blast paste on the background of this page.



Such a fun boy collection to create with. I especially like the enamel shapes.

--- A2Z Scraplets DT --- "Good Vibes" Scrapbook Layout

Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets

My layout "Good Vibes"

I've used two chipboards for this layout.

The title is Good Vibes.

Which I've treated with Colour Blast embossing powder in "Royalty"

I've also used the
Arrow Circle Frame.

First I've given it a coat of white gesso, followed by two coats of Colour Blast embossing powder in "Bling"
Tip - The lighter embossing powders have a better colour if you use the white gesso on the chipboard first.

Some other elements on this page include Colour Blast paste in 'Royalty" and Kaisercraft "Lilac Whisper" collection.

I'm my harshest critic so if I manage to get a nice photo of myself - I like to create a page with it.

Photos of me are a good excuse to make feminine floral pages.

--- White with 1 DT --- Getting to know me and craft room tour

Hi Scrap Friends

As part of my DT role with White with ... 1 I'm on the blog today sharing a little about myself and a little peek into my scrapping space!

How would you describe your personal scrapbooking style?

I describe my style as PPM: Paper + medium - I'm not truly mixed media but my layouts will almost always include some medium, ie acrylic paint, texture paste, sprays/mists, inks and Distress Crayons

How long have you been scrapbooking and what first got you started?

My mum was a Creative Memories consultant 15+ years ago - I started then. I took a break for marriage and babies but came back and joined the digital world in 2014.

Which colour are you drawn to the most and do you know why?

It fluctuates regular, I've recently been through stages of yellow followed by a stage where I created a lot in turquoise/aqua.
I'm definintely drawn to brights. I really struggle with neutrals and pastels.

Typically how many photos do you put on your layout?

Typically one or two. The creative process for me is an artistic release with the bonus of being a memory recorded so I'm drawn to layouts with one to two photos and a pleasing balance of white space and creativity.

What crafting tool can’t you live without?

Probably my Scotch ATG - It's big and bulky but it seriously saves so much time because you don't have to peel the backing off the adhesive! LOL

If you could add only one embellishment to your page what would it be?

Probably stickers - They are so versatile, backgrounds, titles, embellishing - so many uses.

Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets

My layout "Pawprints on my Heart"

I've used the seriously cute

Pawprints on my heart

chipboard. I've given the chippie a coat of white gesso. I've used

Colour Blast "Bling" embossing powder on the word "heart" and coloured the other part with Distress Crayons.

This Double Scribble Heart

received a coat of Colour Blast embossing powder in "Royalty"

I didn't really start with a purple theme but I love the Royalty embossing powder so I kind of ran with it. No mixed media but a lovely symmetrical page.

Today I've got a layout to share for Scrapbook Boutique 

"Hello"

I just adore the pastel patterns and colours of this Kaisercraft "Daydreamer" collection.
I've decided to make a 9x12 layout.

I've prepared my background papers and added a coat of gesso.

Once dry, I've used the Tim Holtz Distress Crayons to smudge around the background.

Final elements on this page are stamping, cotton and stickers.
