*** Mystical Scrapbooks DT *** November Cybercrop challenge reveal - Teacher Gifts

   Hi Crafters

Welcome to November cybercrop challenge reveal for Mystical Scrapbooks..

I'd like to see you make a handmade gift or scrapbook a layout about a gift.

This month we are focusing on cards and gifts.

So I've created some teacher gifts for the end of the year.

I picked up these glass jars from my local discount store.

I'm filling them with a cylinder of paper - that holds an extra little surprise then filling the outside space with red & green Christmas m&m's

For the outside I've wrapped them with twine and added two sweet little tags.

Here are the supplies used for this layout:

Uniquely Creative "Holly Jolly Christmas" collection

"Holly Jolly Christmas" Fussy cut page

"Holly Jolly Christmas" Flairs

Twine

Thanks for visiting ... Can't wait to see your creations.

--- Mystical Scrapbooks DT --- August Cyber Crop Challenge - Sketch + textiles

Hi Crafters

Today I'm sharing a new layout created for

Mystical Scrapbooks

For August we are focusing on textiles.
The online cybercrop starts today and my challenge is to use the sketch + textiles.

Here is my inspiration "Special Memories"

If you'd like to join in with the challenges, you can find them here: Mystical Scrapbooks Chat

Here is the sketch I designed ...

The corrugated cardboard is from the packing boxes that scrapbook goodies arrive in.

Spray the top layer with some water and then it will soften up enough that you can peel it back and reveal the corrugation.

Other products from the Mystical Store are:

Colour Blast Find Paradise word sheet

Colour Blast Find Paradise paper

Mixed Mulberry Flower bundle

Enamel Dots

Chipboard title

Embossing powder

My textile element is the twine.

Have Fun and happy scrapping.

--- Scrap the Boys December 2019 --- Peace & Joy challenge

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout for

Scrap the Boys

Inspiration for this layout is a Christmas page featuring a man in your life.

This photo is a little blurry so was tricky to scrap, but I managed to distract with lots of background elements.

I also don't often scrap on Kraft background so this was a huge challenge for me.

This layout also features Kinder Kreations chipboard

Thanks for visiting.

I'm hoping to be a little more consistent on my blog next year :)

Happy Scrapping.

--- Off the Rails Scrapbooking DT --- January scraplift the DT moodboard challenge "Aunty"

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing my page for the December challenge at

Off the Rails Scrapbooking

My Layout "Aunty"

This month's inspiration is all about Mothers and Babies.

As an added challenge we were asked to create in the style of one of the other DT members.

I chose Dawid - I love his simple mixed media style.

--- White with 1 CT --- August colour reveal "That Smile"

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm also sharing a page inspired by the August challenge at
White ... with 1

My layout : "That Smile"

Seriously, yellows are my favourite colour to use.
So I raided my stash and gathered everything I could find inspired by the "Sunny Yellow" theme.

This was one of those pages where it all just worked!
I think the photo is very important and this super cute B&W was so easy to work with.

Thanks for visiting.

I look forward to seeing your creations.

Happy Scrapping!

--- Scrapbook Boutique DT --- "Love you to the Moon" Scrapbook Layout + process video

 Hi Scrap Friends

Today I've got a layout to share for Scrapbook Boutique

"Love you to the moon"

This page started as a 9x12 but as it developed I added the black 12x12 background.

In the Scrapbook Boutique store you will find some gorgeous paper collections.
I love this one ...

So of course, I needed to make a boys layout.
I also did a little fussy cutting and embellished with a cute little paper fan.

I've kept the background fairly simple with lots of colour splatters using the Vicki Boutin Water colours.

--- Scrapbook Boutique DT --- "Mayor's Ball" Scrapbook Layout + process video

 Hi Scrap Friends

Today I've got a layout to share for Scrapbook Boutique

"Mayor's Ball"

I really wanted to make a lovely floral page as it's something I don't often do.
The inspiration came from the paper collection ...

I've created my own striped background using the Vicki Boutin water colour set.

I fussy cut some flowers from the patterned papers and combined them with Prima Flowers to complete the page.
