Scrap the Girls - January moodboard challenge "Selfie" scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

It's been a little while since I played over at
Scrap the Girls

I decided that this months moodboard really spoke to me so I made time to complete a page.

"Selfie"

I just couldn't go past the moodboard.

Beautiful blue tones, patterns and textures - it really spoke to me.

It also helped that I knew I had this photo of which I'm wearing a blue dress.

My background paper is a foil from the French White DCWV collection.

I've used Colour Blast Sprays "Caribbean" and "Indigo" to build layers of colour over texture paste.

Finally for my title, I just picked up this chipboard from A2Z Scraplets and it was just right - for the photo and a great size.
It had one coat of "Just Blue" Colour Blast embossing powder and one coat of "Snow White" Colour Blast embossing powder.

To embellish the page, I've added some flowers (rare for me), butterflies, sequins and die cuts.

I really like how this one came together.
