Today I'm sharing a layout and process video created for

Jot Magazine March moodboard.

My Layout "Today Documented"

I have to admit, I rarely use pink. With a house full of boys it doesn't feature often
in my pages, but I'm pleasantly surprised at the little pop of colour it's given to this page.

I've taken inspiration from the wooden texture, the arrows, the colour palette and the typewriters.
This layout is a mix of Kaiser papers and
elements from the Simple Stories "Life in Color" collection.

I've also provided a process video so you can see how I completed this layout.

Kaisercraft March sketch challenge layout + process video using the Sail Away collection

I'm on a roll for this month's challenges and am loving creative time at the moment.
Today I'm sharing a layout for the March challenge at
Kaisercraft.

The sketch was inspired by current DT Anna's lovely layout and I found it so easy to work with.

While perusing some of the different Kaisercraft collections in my stash,
I decided to use the Sail Away collection as it was an all time favourite, I love it for boy layouts!

More than Words Challenge blog Scrapbook layout "My Bliss"

Today I'm sharing a layout created for the challenge at 

More than Words.

My Layout "My Bliss"

The challenge this month was to use gesso and the word "Bliss"
I actually found gesso the easiest element to use while the "Bliss" was a little harder.

I've used gesso on my white cardstock,
then coloured roughly with Tim Holtz Distress Crayons,
Layered over a stencil,
then used a baby wipe to remove some of the colour.

I've also applied gesso around my photo and layers to give it a textured look.

I love the depth of colour in this layout.

I've had a fantastic flow of scrap mojo at the moment and am

pleased to share with you another layout, this time created for

D'Lish Scraps

My Layout "Fun in the Sun"

I've used the March Just Add Paper (JAP) kit and the inspiration sketch.

Pretty much everything you see on this page, came in the kit.

I've added some stamping and the papers.

To add the colour I've used Tim Holtz distress crayons (my new favourite medium).

Scrap the Boys march Challenge - Scrapbook Layout "Water Fun"

Today's share is a layout created for

Scrap the Boys

using the March inspiration board.

My layout "Water Fun"

This layout was also inspired by one of the Scrap the Boys DT.

I have of course used the colours and added some cheeseclothe to represent the

fishing net part of the board. The drink also helped me pic the photos to scrap.

123 challenge blog March Scrapbook layout "Happy Memories"

I've been enjoying some time in my craft space and have another layout to share

with you today, this time inspired by the March challenge at

123 Challenge Blog.

My Layout "Happy Memories"

The challenge was to use: 

As soon as I saw the inspiration, I had the perfect photo in mind.
At first, I didn't know what to do with the "Leaves" theme but decided to role with it.
I ended up using leaves in all different forms.
Some I inked through a stencil and fussy cut, some I inked on the page,
some were pre cut from a package, with a couple of wood veneer thrown in.

I had fun with this and created it in less than an hour (fast for me!)
