123 Challenge Blog June Scrapbooking Layout

Hello again ...

This time I'm sharing a layout for the 123 Challenge Blog.

The task this month was to include Gold, Stitching and the word Family.

I've completed a few layouts lately with no mixed media and I'm finding it really refreshing.

I'm also enjoying the 123 challenge as it makes me think more about what to include on my layout.

Show us Your Stuff June Mood Board Mixed Media Scrapbooking Layout "You Make me Happy"

Today I'm sharing another June moodboard challenge.

This one is using the may kit from A Piece of Cake Designs. Which included some wonderful flair.

Their kits are amazing, you really must check them out!

I've used the top left image and gone for a bright misted background with lots of circles (fruit) and the long lines of the candles. The twine is also a nod to the cotton/sewing reference in the pic.

7 Dots Studio June Challenge "Time Flies" Scrapbooking Layout

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

This is my first time playing at 7 Dots Studio.

I love their new ranges of paper and I've added them to my wish list.

So with that in mind I've used some papers from my stash to complete this layout.

(7 Dots Studio, Thoughts Keeper No. 2)

I've used a photo collage of our dog. When I thought about this months theme of "Time Flies" I thought first of my children as time really is flying by with them but then I wanted to think a little outside the norm - so I went with a layout based on our fur child "Zeus".

June is his birth month so I felt it appropriate that he have a layout in our album!

I had so much fun completing this layout.

I picked some paper and knew I wanted to include the wonderful chandeliers on my layout.

I'm getting better at scrapping myself - 

I really want my boys to be able to look through my albums and understand me.

Scrapbooking layout for Kraft + Challenge "Roar"

Happy Saturday everyone.

I'm blogging today a layout for Kraft + Challenge Blog.

Here is my layout "Roar"

 This month the inspiration was animal print and circles.

As you can see from my layout I've used my Cricut to cut the Kraft card and 

layered it over some animal print paper.

I've then used the Scrap FX "Remember This" circle chipboard and one of Charms Creations Hearts.

My title is also a reflection of the Jungle themed moodboard.

I've been busy with other work, so not many challenges done,

Scrap Around the World June Moodboard scrapbooking layout

My first challenge share for the month is Scrap Around the World.

My Layout "A Fabulous Day"

Sometimes a layout comes together really easily and this was one of those. I started with some modelling paste and mist on the page, layered some stamping, pearls, accordian flower, muslin, photo, flowers, journalling & done!!!

I picked this photo as I'm trying to scrap myself more often and this moodboard felt perfect for a recent selfie taken at the races.

I was inspired by the pretty pastel orange and turquoise colors, 

the grey background of the quote, the chevron pattern

 and of course the flowers.

Merci Paper, Modelling paste, Kaisercraft 'Orange' mist, black ink, stamping, CM Paper, grey muslin, Prima flower, Kaisercraft flower, pearls, black pen, gesso
