White with 1 March challenge "Orange Peel"

Hi Scrap Friends

Today's share is a page created for
White with 1

"Hello Tapemeasure"

I tried really hard to match the orange colour in the moodboard.
The layout is closer but was very hard to replicate in the photo.

I've made my background with dylusions and water.
Other elements on the page are from Kaisercraft "Boho Dreams" collection.

Love how this one has turned out.

Thanks for visiting.

--- A2Z Scraplets DT --- "Not now, Playing with sand" scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets

"Not Now Playing with Sand"

I've used the

Steps to reproduce this chipboard look:

1. Two x coats of white gesso
2. Colour sections with Tim Holtz Distress Crayons - smudge with fingers
3. Allow to dry overnight
4. Embossing ink + clear embossing powder x 2

To create my background, I've chosen my papers and added a coat of clear gesso.
Then close up to the page I've sprayed Dylusions "Calypso Teal" and let it run.

Love the simplicity of this layout and how it came together.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

--- A2Z Scraplets DT --- October 19th layout share "Love" - Chipboard technique

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets

"Love"

For the "Love" chipboard
I've treated it as follows:

I love this technique and it can easily be applied to any chipboard product.

My layout also includes lots of other textural elements - twine, straws, tags, texture paste all come together with a green colour theme.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Stuck?! Sketches September 1st Scrapbook layout "Fun"

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout I created for the Stuck?! Sketches
Anniversary celebration.

My Layout "Fun"

I started by choosing some bright patterned papers and then took my colour cues from there.
Here is the inspiration sketch.

Once I knew what papers I was using, I chose a photo and created the layout.

I like this page, because it has such a story element to it.
The photo doesn't give the memory justice so the journalling was important on this page!

Thanks for visiting.

--- Scrapbook Boutique DT --- June 30 layout + process video share

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook layout created for

My layout "Bliss"

I've used the Simple Stories "Life in Color" collection for this layout.

When this collection was released, it went straight to the top of my "Need" list!

During a recent clean up of my scrap space, I found it buried under some other papers
and half finished projects and decided it was time to create with it again.

Although the final layout, is nothing like what I started with in my head,
I'm pleased with the bright, fun result.

I've also created a process video for this page, if you'd like to watch me create.

Thanks for visiting and I hope I've inspired you to either dig out some old paper collections
or have a go at the Simple Stories "Life in Color" collection from Scrapbook Boutique.
