Today I'm also sharing the new challenge over at
CSI Challenge Blog.

My layout "Wild at Heart"

All you have to do to play along is solve the case.

It might sound hard but it's really quite easy - colours, image inspiration, title, journalling?
Pick one or pick them all and use it as your inspiration to create.

I chose a school inspired page.
Embellishing was easy, I created some frames and then added a calendar, leaves and banner.
I also tried to follow the colour scheme too.

My favourite part of CSI challenges is that they really inspire you to create a Story!

So get out there and tell your story!

--- White with 1 CT --- "1st Haircut" Scrapbook Layout

Today is one of my fav days of the month.
When you get to see all the new scrapbook challenges.

My first share is for White with 1

"1st Haircut"

This month we have a lovely colour this month.

You can also take inspiration from this sweet moodboard.

I've started with White cardstock background (Of Course!) and created some stripes with Distress Crayon and washi tape.

I then grabbed some stash items and built my page.
These photos I've had printed for awhile, but had not scrapped them.

This page with it's blue inspiration matched the photos so I went with it.

I also had this chippie from A2Z Scraplets and the layout kind of just fell into place.

I always look forward to seeing your creations each month, so I hope you'll have fun with this months colour.

--- White with 1 DT --- Reveal "Lavendar" Scrapbook Layout

Here is my first layout playing along with the July challenge "Lavendar Lane"

"Love this Dude"

Straight out of my comfort zone with this colour.

I decided on a heart cut file with something circular like the top right photo.



Then I started to play with colour.
I chose a Kaisercraft paper for behind the cut file and then searched my stash for "Lavendar" embellishments.

I chose wood veneer, washi tape, flowers and paper.

The photo was the last element of the page and was tricky.
I love this one though of my boys with their Uncle.

Kaisercraft April challenge - Scrapbook Layout "Happy Birthday"

I took my inspiration from the water colour paint splatters and of course the colour palette.

I just can't get enough of this collection.

It's so full of patterns and textures and is just perfect for boys!

--- Off the Rails Scrapbooking DT --- September Scrapbook Layout Tutorial + process video

Today is my day over on the Off the Rails Scrapbooking

blog to share a tutorial.

I've created this layout and made a process video.

"Courage"

My inspiration came from the green sparkling lips - I've used whipped spackle through a stencil

and then added lime green sparkle embossing powder and heat set.

I also wanted to include some of the inspiration words to cover the journalling for this photo.

123 Challenge Blog June Scrapbooking Layout

Hello again ...

This time I'm sharing a layout for the 123 Challenge Blog.

The task this month was to include Gold, Stitching and the word Family.

I've completed a few layouts lately with no mixed media and I'm finding it really refreshing.

I'm also enjoying the 123 challenge as it makes me think more about what to include on my layout.

123 Challenge Blog - Scrapbooking Layout

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my layout inspired 

by the challenge over at 123 Challenge Blog.

I have to admit, I really enjoyed the challenge of having some guidelines to work with.

Here's my layout "Brand New Baby Boy" 

The requirement for this challenge is to use

the colour Beige, the word Baby and the technique of banners.

The photo isn't quite the same colour but the background paper is a really pretty

patterned beige which I've then accented with lots of browns, umber & bisque. 

I've also included some beige embellishments.

Off the rails scrapbooking November challenge

Phew, the end of November kind of snuck up on me. Almost didn't get this layout done in time.

I joined in with the team at Off the Rails Scrapbooking for their November Challenge.

I was immediately inspired by the purple and yellow and knew I had some great colours in my stash to play with. I copied the leaves hanging on the twine and made a banner. And of course, "Your Special" but in a slightly different context.

"Your Special Day"

Materials:

Creative Memories Paper, gesso, modelling paste, Close to my heart Stamp, Versa Colour "Violet", Kaisercraft "Violet", yellow & purple cardstock, purple corrugated board, washi tape, Little Birdie burlap flower and butterfly, twine, buttons, ribbon, doillie, diamonties,
