--- Scrapbook Boutique DT --- 30th April "Awesome" layout + process video

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I have a layout to share using the Cocoa Vanilla Studio "Totally Rad" collection from

My Layout "Awesome"

I am loving this collection at the moment. Fabulous papers and colours with so many
great patterns and textures + the embellishments ... totally adore!

This is Master C's "Cheese" face!
For this layout I've gone with a "cog" theme.
The background cog was cut with the Cricut.

Welcome to my first blog post of an off the page project.

This month, D'Lish Scraps have a fabulous moodboard.

When I saw this, I knew I wanted to create a canvas.
I adore dream catchers and I knew that I wanted to make my canvas inspired by the dreamcatcher.

The finished project "Believe"

Kaisercraft April Sketch challenge scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing my take on the Kaisercraft Blog April sketch challenge.

My Layout "Little Moments"

Here is the inspiration sketch.

KC april 16

It looks like I've copied Alicia's inspiration layout:

Kaisercraft Sea Breeze Layout by Alicia McNamara

But it was totally unintentional. I was working from the sketch and started with the quote from
"Antique Bazaar" paper and did some doodling on the black cardstock.
The colours of the quote worked with the new "Sea Breeze" collection and the layout just
developed from there.

Here are some close ups of the cluster detail.

I love the final result of this layout and really enjoyed working with the sketch.

I've used:
- Kaisercraft Black Cardstock
- Kaisercraft Mix & Match "Paper Confetti"
- Kaisercraft Back to Basics "Kraft Stripe"
- Kaisercraft Antique Bazaar "Character"
- Kaisercraft Sea Breeze "Collectables"
- Kaisercraft Flourist pack "Fancy Hearts"
- Kaisercraft Flourish pack "Swirls"
- Kaisercraft Paper Blooms "Sea Breeze"
- Kaisercraft Mini Paper Blooms "Sea Breeze"
- Kaisercraft Bonjour Jewels
Other Products:
- White pen
- white twine
- white embossing powder

it on white cardstock to go into my 12x12 album.

--- Turtle Soup DT --- April Stash busting share "Twine" using Kaisercraft Sail Away collection + process video

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout created for my DT position with

This months challenge was to pick a stash item and totally "BUST" it!
I picked twine, purely because I have a huge box of plain, bakers, embroidery thread etc
all looking for a new home on a layout.

My Layout "Memories"

I've used papers and collectables from the Sail Away collection by Kaisercraft.

This was lots of fun to create, so I've included a process video if you'd like
to check it out.

Thanks for visiting.
I hope your inspired to go check out the fabulous challenges over at Scrapping Turtle
or to play along with the twine challenge.

Scrap the Boys April inspiration challenge Scrapbook Layout "Grandpas"

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout created for the April challenge at

My layout "Grandpa"

This month it really was a "Challenge" to be inspired. I love a sketch and a moodboard
but for some reason, I had no clue what to do with this months inspiration image.

So I went to my friend "Google" and looked up "Hero quotes".
After trawling through various options, I found

"The best Dad's get promoted to Grandpa's" - Perfect!!

I had started this layout but never finished it as I was uninspired and this challenge
was the kick I needed to get back to it.

What better way to create than with a layout featuring my own Dad and my boys!

I've used the Time Machine collection from Kaisercraft and built my background
with layers of paper and distress ink through a stencil.

Really pleased with the final result of the layout.

Thanks for stopping by.
