--- Scrap the Boys December 2019 --- Peace & Joy challenge

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout for

Inspiration for this layout is a Christmas page featuring a man in your life.

This photo is a little blurry so was tricky to scrap, but I managed to distract with lots of background elements.

I also don't often scrap on Kraft background so this was a huge challenge for me.

This layout also features Kinder Kreations chipboard
KK1740

Thanks for visiting.

I'm hoping to be a little more consistent on my blog next year :)

Happy Scrapping.

Kraft + April challenge - "Love ya" scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing my layout created for the April challenge at Kraft +.

My Layout 'Love Ya"

I haven't joined in with Kraft + for a little while.
Truth ... I find the idea of Kraft background very challenging.

Something about this month's challenge though made me want to create!

So I pulled out some Kraft cardstock and gathered some supplies.

Something Old - Ribbon and fabric washi
Something New - Gold thickers title
Something Borrowed - The stamped flowers came from my crafty friend Therese
(You can read all about our collaboration here)
Something Blue - I created my striped background with Colour Blast Paste "Singin the Blues"

I chose a photo from my stash - the black and white really lets the layout shine and like the journalling says "I just heart that sweet face".

Thanks for visiting.

Happy Scrapping.

Kraft + November challenge - Think Big - Scrapbook Layout "Big Shoes"

Hello Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout created for the challenge this month at Kraft +

My layout "Big Shoes"

This months inspiration is to "Think Big"

I knew these photos were in my stash and thought they were just right for the challenge.
Master Z wearing his Dad's big ugg boots.

To include my "Big" element I also made a "Big" brush stroke ....
by covering my dustpan brush with acrylic paint and sliding it across the page!

So much messy fun!

I left the embellishing to a minimum so as not to cover the large brush stroke.

I just love that pop of colour in the background, highlighted with some gold and black accents.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

DLish Scraps July layout challenge "Hello Mess"

Hi Scrap Friends

I've enjoyed some creative time lately and am pleased to share a layout with you for the
July challenge at D-Lish Scraps.

My layout "Hello Mess"

I've followed the sketch loosely but found that I was drawn to the red twine that came with the
Just Add Paper (JAP) kit this month.

With a moodboard name like "Rustic Charm" how could I possible go past these photos
of Master C - happily digging in the dirt!

This page has no mixed media elements - I've simply let the paper and the embellishments speak for themselves.

Thanks for visiting.

Don't forget to check out D-Lish Scraps store for lots of embellishing goodies.

Kraft + September sketch scrapbooking layout + process video "Precious Moments"

Hello Scrap Friends

Today I'm pleased to share a layout I completed using the Kraft + September sketch.

I went just a little bit triangle crazy on this layout but I think the effect is really cool.

My Layout "Precious Memories"

I love Kraft + challenges. The sketch this months was really fun to work with.

Current Challenge

One of my goals for 2015 was to start providing more process videos.

It's taken me a little bit of time to get my set-up sorted but I'm closer to ticking this off my list!

Scrapbooking layout for Kraft + Challenge "Roar"

Happy Saturday everyone.

I'm blogging today a layout for Kraft + Challenge Blog.

Here is my layout "Roar"

This month the inspiration was animal print and circles.
As you can see from my layout I've used my Cricut to cut the Kraft card and
layered it over some animal print paper.

I've then used the Scrap FX "Remember This" circle chipboard and one of Charms Creations Hearts.

My title is also a reflection of the Jungle themed moodboard.

Kraft + Kraftboard challenge May - Scrapbooking Layout

Hello Scrap Friends
Thanks for stopping by.
Today I'm sharing a layout for Kraft + May Kraftboard challenge.

Ok, so I have to admit that I've really wanted to do their challenges for months but every time I go to my local craft shop I forget to buy Kraft card and therefore, can't have a go at the challenge.
I managed to solve that by actually writing a list of supplies.

Here is my layout "Celebrate life everyday"

Anyone that's seen an ultrasound will recognize that it looks a little odd -
that's because the picture is of my Twins!

I took inspiration from the books - I've been wanting to use
old book pages in a layout for a while. This gave me the chance. I loved the orange
and green colours and you cannot go wrong with flowers on a layout.

Thank you for visiting. Please feel free to leave a comment.
