Sassy Scrappers May Moodboard - Scrapbooking layout "Celebrate"

Hello Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout for Sassy Scrappers May moodboard.
Last challenge for the month as I am concentrating my efforts on catching up with my project life album.
Might share some in the future

 "Celebrate"

This month's Sassy moodboard is so pretty and there are so many ways to be inspired.

I chose to use the black and white striped tablecloth with blue as my colour inspiration.
The cake in the top right also looked delicious
so I chose a photo of Master C on his first birthday, tucking into a cupcake!

Thanks for stopping by.

Scrap Around the World May Mixed Media Layout "Sweet" using a secret ingredient

Hello Scrap Friends

Thanks for visiting today to check out my May entry for Scrap Around the World.

I'm excited to share this layout as it is totally outside of my comfort zone.

Introducing "Sweet"

It is Scrap Around the World's Epic Event for May - being their birthday month.
I got really excited when I first saw the moodboard.
Instantly the photo of the cocktail with the sprinkles had my mind working.

You really need to check out their epic event here

Why???? I hear you ask.

This .....

Giant jar of sprinkles that were hiding in my cupboard.
I really wanted to see what would happen if I used 100's & 1000's on my layout.
(Note: There are literally 100's and 1000's of them all over my craft room floor
following completion of this layout)

Here are some close ups!

To build the background, I started with inks, sprays, stamping, washi, embossing and stencils.
I wanted to run the colours like the cocktail glass.
Then I swiped a layer of modelling paste and sprinkled with "100's & 1000's"
I love the texture and colour it's given to this layout.
The photos are of my boys enjoying their first soft serve icecream cones -
inspired by the picture of the icecream!

Loving the 2 Crafty Chipboard title too!

Scroll down to see what I created!
Here is my layout

My local Scrap store has a monthly challenge pack and this month included the piece of hession.
I removed pieces and then plaited them into lengths,
before creating the circle embellishment to the left of the photo.

Here is the inspiration sketch!

123 Challenge Blog - Scrapbooking Layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my layout inspired
by the challenge over at 123 Challenge Blog.

I have to admit, I really enjoyed the challenge of having some guidelines to work with.

Here's my layout "Brand New Baby Boy"

The requirement for this challenge is to use
the colour Beige, the word Baby and the technique of banners.
The photo isn't quite the same colour but the background paper is a really pretty
patterned beige which I've then accented with lots of browns, umber & bisque.
I've also included some beige embellishments.

Please feel free to leave a comment.

Pink, pearl & lace fascinator - handmade by me

Hello ...
and thank you for stopping by to visit my blog.

Mostly I share my scrapbooking pages here,
however I dabble in some other crafty pursuits - when I have the time!

Today I'm sharing with you one of my favourite hobbies - Millinery!

I started making my own fascinators when I couldn't find one to match a dress about four years ago.

Since then, whenever I head off to the races, I pick an outfit and then accesorise accordingly!

Below is a recent fascinator I made to wear to the races.

I started with white felt as I had a dusty pink dress that I couldn't match felt to.
I then mixed various sprays until I matched one close to my dress.
I had an image in my mind of pearls threaded through wire.
I'm really pleased with the result and it's one of my favourite fascinators by far!

This piece is available for purchase.
I'll have a scrapbook page of my outfit with pictures coming soon!

I'm also available for custom pieces (four weeks notice required).
So if you have something in mind, feel free to drop me an email at
timelesscraftmumma {at} gmail {dot} com

Thanks for visiting.
Comments are always appreciated.

Kraft + Kraftboard challenge May - Scrapbooking Layout

Hello Scrap Friends
Thanks for stopping by.
Today I'm sharing a layout for Kraft + May Kraftboard challenge.

Ok, so I have to admit that I've really wanted to do their challenges for months but every time I go to my local craft shop I forget to buy Kraft card and therefore, can't have a go at the challenge.
I managed to solve that by actually writing a list of supplies.

Here is my layout "Celebrate life everyday"

Anyone that's seen an ultrasound will recognize that it looks a little odd -
that's because the picture is of my Twins!

I took inspiration from the books - I've been wanting to use
old book pages in a layout for a while. This gave me the chance. I loved the orange
and green colours and you cannot go wrong with flowers on a layout.

Thank you for visiting. Please feel free to leave a comment.

Materials:

Kraft cardstock, old book pages, green cardstock, modelling paste, stencil, Kaisercraft orange, turquoise & charcoal mists, green watercolour pencil, black ink, orange embossing powder, chipboard shapes, various stamps, Kaisercraft & Little Birdie flowers, gesso, wire, CM Sticker, Orange cardstock, Kaisercraft Dream Big collectables

Scrap the Boys May Challenge Scrapbooking Layout

Hello Scrap Friends
Today I am sharing with you a layout created for Scrap the Boys.

Below is my layout "Mini Cooper"

This is the image we had as inspiration for this months challenge.

You'll notice I've gone for something a little different. I chose to use the word Pound
recording the weight of Master C (Twin 1) when he was born.
I also went for a very monochrome layout as per the image.

Thanks for stopping by. Please feel free to leave a comment.
