It's a pleasure to bring you a layout today using the

"Free Spirit" collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio

So many pretty papers and embellishments to chose from.

My layout "I heart you"

In case you haven't visited my blog before, I'm surrounded by boys. But when I saw this collection I fell in love with the beautiful colours and patterns. So, while my main scrapping inspiration are my boys I'm conscious of scrapping myself so that they will have a memories of me!

With that in mind, I created a layout celebrating my Mum with a picture we took on her birthday (New years day).

Scrapbooking Top 50 Aus February challenge layout "Memories"

Today I'm sharing a a layout inspired by the challenge at 

Scrapbooking Top 50 Aus

My Layout "Memories"

 The challenge this month was to scrap a layout using the colour you love most.

With February being the month of Love! a lot of challenge mood boards

had red themes and although I tried to pick another colour

I couldn't go past my all time favourite of red!!!

If we are going to get specific, though, it's red, black and white.

For this layout though, I've taken my cue from the photo colours.

The blanket wrapping Master Z had some red and blue so I've also included a small

touch of blue on my layout, but it's dominated by red!

This one was definitely a challenge for me but I'm really pleased with the final result.

More than Words February challenge - Wonderful + sparkle

Today I'm sharing a layout inspired by the challenge at

More than Words.

My Layout "It's the most Wonderful time of the year"

This is my first time joining the challenge at More than Words and I really enjoyed

completing a mixed media layout!

It's been so long since I've gotten messy, this was really fun.

The challenge was to include the word Wonderful and make your project sparkle.

Straight away I was inspired to use the title "wonderful time of year" and 

wanted to scrap a christmas photo.

Very non-tradidtional Christmas but I love the result. 

Here's some close ups

I've used metallic paint in gold and blue, gold glitter paste and sparkly cabochons to finish.

This range quickly became one of my favourites. I love the neutral tones -
you really could scrap any subject.

Today I've chosen to use pictures of me with Master C during our time in
Special Care Nursery.
