D-Lish Scraps October JAP Kit Challenge - "Hello Cutie Patootie"

Hello Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing my take on the October challenge at

My Layout "Hello Cute Patootie"

I know I say it every month but the JAP kits are just awesome!!

I've loosely followed the sketch as far as the background work but I have moved the title.

My background features Colour Shimmer Dust in "Candy" and Colour paste in "Snow White".

From the JAP Kit I've used
- twine
- washi tape
- resin hat piece
- Stitched light bulb

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

D-Lish Scraps August challenge Entries - Scrapbook layouts

Hi Scrap Friends

This month I challenged myself to create for FUN!

In other words, I spend a lot of time creating for DT commitments and sometimes I just want to make pretty pages.

So I joined the challenges at D-Lish Scraps.

First - the moodboard and JAP (Just add paper) kit.

The JAP had a cool brick wall die cut, so I used that as inspiration for my background.
I also included some mud splatters with the sweet stencil and some Colour Blast paste in 'Leather"

Three other challenge pages created for this month in the facebook group

#2 by Tamara

#4 by Julianne

# 3 by Nicolee

Honesty ...

I could not think of anything for this one.
I even was going to do something along the lines of "This time last year"
but it just wasn't me.
I'm really a "fly by the seat of my pants" person and I don't make "plans".
If your reading this .. Nicolee please don't be offended that I didn't complete your challenge.
"It's not you, it's me."

D-Lish Scraps - March JAP Kit moodboard challenge scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing my take on the March inspiration board at D-Lish Scraps

Such a feminine moodboard - it was instantly a challenge for me.

I stretched the colours a little bit and ignored the sketch because I had these photos that I wanted to create a page about. This is me with my workmates on a recent work gathering (relaxing at dinner).

I seriously loved the little beads in the JAP kit this month.
I spread gel medium onto the page with a spatula and then poured the beads over the top.
Messy but fun!

Thanks for visiting.

D-Lish Scraps February challenge - "Sweet" scrapbook Layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout created for the February challenge at
D-Lish Scraps

"Sweet"

I decided to roll with the sketch in this month's JAP kit.

But I made a smaller version and then mounted it onto some cardstock.

The JAP kit came with a cute leaf stencil. I used a pen to trace through it and then coloured the leaves with Distress Crayons.

The "Sweet" title was perfect with this photo of Master Z enjoying icecream.

D-Lish Scraps January challenge - scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing my take on the sketch/moodboard at
D-Lish Scraps

My layout "Happy Hour"

A super easy sketch to work with.

I am really drawn to paper layers at the moment so I left the mixed media out of this layout and kept it to purely record keeping!

Love the result.

D-Lish Scraps December inspiration board challenge scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a real challenge for me.
It's the
"Peaches & Cream"

My layout "PS I Love You"

Such a pretty moodboard.

But really outside my comfort zone!
I started with the JAP then went stash searching for anything that would fit the theme.

Next was finding a photo.

I'd already chosen the collectables from Kaisercraft "Always and Forever" collection
so it was appropriate to use a photo of DH & I.

I like how the layout has this lovely romantic feel, but the photo is funny!

D-Lish Scraps September moodboard - Scrapbook Layout "Cherish"

Hi Scrap Friends

I've been so busy with other commitments I've not had a lot of time for challenges this month.
But today I thought I'd quickly share my entry for
September challenge.

My layout "Cherish"

I've used the September Just Add Paper (JAP) kit and the inspiration sketch from the moodboard:

I really like the end result of this one and those JAP Kit's just keep getting better every month.

Hope you will get to play along.

DLish Scraps July layout challenge "Hello Mess"

Hi Scrap Friends

I've enjoyed some creative time lately and am pleased to share a layout with you for the
July challenge at D-Lish Scraps.

My layout "Hello Mess"

I've followed the sketch loosely but found that I was drawn to the red twine that came with the
Just Add Paper (JAP) kit this month.

With a moodboard name like "Rustic Charm" how could I possible go past these photos
of Master C - happily digging in the dirt!

This page has no mixed media elements - I've simply let the paper and the embellishments speak for themselves.

Thanks for visiting.

Don't forget to check out D-Lish Scraps store for lots of embellishing goodies.

D'Lish Scraps March challenge using Just Add Paper (JAP) Kit

Hi Scrap Friends

I've had a fantastic flow of scrap mojo at the moment and am
pleased to share with you another layout, this time created for

My Layout "Fun in the Sun"

I've used the March Just Add Paper (JAP) kit and the inspiration sketch.

Pretty much everything you see on this page, came in the kit.

I've added some stamping and the papers.
To add the colour I've used Tim Holtz distress crayons (my new favourite medium).

Thanks so much for visiting.

DLish Scraps February sketch + JAP kit Scrapbook layout challenge

Hi Scrap Friends

The weekend is gone and despite how busy we were, I managed to finish a layout.
As soon as the Just Add Paper (JAP) kit arrived, I was inspired to get started.

Here's my layout "Friend"

You really must check out DLish Scraps for wonderful inspiration.
The DT is amazing and so versatile.

Here is the inspiration board:

For my layout I've used the Ma Cherie collection from Kaisercraft and teamed it with
some D'Lish goodies from the JAP kit. Of course, I've used the colours and sketch as inspiration.

Thanks for visiting.

DLish Scraps November challenge + Just add paper kit scrapbooking layout

Hi Scrap Friends

So pleased to be sharing a layout using the November Just Add paper kit from

My layout "The Look"

I've used the sketch (scroll down) as inspiration.
The black cardstock got a layer of modelling paste while the white paper got a
layer of black gesso through a stencil.

I've tucked my journalling beneath the photo in the tag pocket.
I chose this photo because I love "The Look" on DH face when he see's me coming down the aisle

The after five inspiration is to die for and I instantly wanted to use one of our wedding photos.
Our theme was black and white with a touch of red.
So pretty much everything in our album is scrapped monochromatic.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what Amanda has in store for next months JAP kit.

Thanks so much for visiting.
