Today I'm pleased to share a layout I created using the December

Scrapping Clearly moodboard for inspiration.

My Layout "Lost"

I"m sure your probably sick of seeing Christmas layouts

but in order to have time to do this years Christmas I thought I should catch up on last years.

Instantly I knew the colours would be great for a Christmas page and was also attracted 

to the patterns of the china.

Don't you just love that feeling of being finished work for the year.
I've taken some much needed time off from my "Real job" and
am looking forward to spending some time with my favourite hobby ...

Scrapping!!!

So today I'm sharing my entry for this months Kaisercraft Blog card sketch challenge.

I'm not normally a fan of cards but as soon as I saw the sketch, 

I knew I wanted to make a shaker card.

I've used the Touch of Gold range of papers. 

The flower was originally white but I coloured it with antique gold mist.

I've managed to finish a page after  suffering all week with a lovely cold!
Thankfully I'm now on time off from work so am
looking forward to getting some pages done.

Today I'm sharing a layout inspired by the sketch at Show us your stuff.

My layout "Sweet"

I've used a silver glitter & gold mixed set from Charms Creations and
a flair from Flutterby designs.
The doilies and chipboard heart where also included from Charms Creations.
I added the silver brads to the doilies and watercoloured the veneer heart.

I love the combination of black and white.

It's a little hard to see but my stamping is around the bottom of the photo

and is then covered with white embossing powder and heat set!

Whatever you celebrate it's hard to beat the joy of Christmas time.

My first layout is for Scrapbooking Top 50 Oz.

I took inspiration from the thongs.

I loved the bright line of colours and reflected this on my blue background.

The photos I chose also reflected my feeling of "tis the season"

Summer in Australia is notoriously HOT!!!

Sunglasses are a must for my two cool dudes.

It's taken a little time, but with so much Christmassy goodness

around, I've finally found some Christmas spirit.

It sure did help to go on a little christmas supply shopping spree.

I'm stalking the postie waiting for some new goodies to play with.

With that in mind, I thought I'd better use some of last years papers!!

drawn to the bottles!

DLish Scraps November challenge + Just add paper kit scrapbooking layout

So pleased to be sharing a layout using the November Just Add paper kit from

DLish Scraps

My layout "The Look" 

I've used the sketch (scroll down) as inspiration.

The black cardstock got a layer of modelling paste while the white paper got a

layer of black gesso through a stencil. 

 

I've tucked my journalling beneath the photo in the tag pocket.

I chose this photo because I love "The Look" on DH face when he see's me coming down the aisle

The after five inspiration is to die for and I instantly wanted to use one of our wedding photos.

Our theme was black and white with a touch of red.

So pretty much everything in our album is scrapped monochromatic.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what Amanda has in store for next months JAP kit.

Here is the inspiration sketch.

Straight away I was inspired by the circle and wanted to incorporate them into my layout!
I've created this layout by using watercolours on the background
and then layering my embellishments around the photos!

Mystical Scrapbooks November Blind Scrap challenge layout

Today's share is something a little different for me.

I've been seeing "Blind Scraps" everywhere and when I saw that

Mystical Scrapbooks

had one as their November challenge I wanted to give it a go.

My Layout "Kitty Love"

I've used papers and embellishments from the Basic Grey Barista range.

You'll have to stop by Mystical Scrapbooks to check out the blind scrap details.

I'm going to have to give the "Blind Scrap" another chance as this time round I didn't love it.

I found the balance of instruction vs open to interpretation a bit challenging.

But I'm not giving up.
