--- A2Z Scraplets DT --- Scrapbook layout + process video "Fishing"

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing my second layout for A2Z Scraplets

"Fishing"

I've got a mad keen fisherman husband and that spills over to our boys.
So when I saw this chipboard I knew I had the perfect layout in mind.

Check it out here

My preparation of the chipboard started as adding a layer of acrylic paint and I was going
to clear emboss over the top ...
however, I accidentally grabbed the white embossing powder instead of the clear!

So back to the drawing board - I ended up heating the white embossing and then adding
two more layers of embossing powder to get the final product.

I've made a video sharing  how I created this layout.

I've used the Oblong Stencelit and I have to tell you how impressed I am with the stencils.
They are tough but flexible and mediums wash off them really easily.

Thanks so much for visiting.

--- Off the Rails Scrapbooking DT --- September Scrapbook Layout Tutorial + process video

Hi Scrap Friends

Today is my day over on the Off the Rails Scrapbooking
blog to share a tutorial.
I've created this layout and made a process video.

"Courage"

My inspiration came from the green sparkling lips - I've used whipped spackle through a stencil
and then added lime green sparkle embossing powder and heat set.

I also wanted to include some of the inspiration words to cover the journalling for this photo.

Hope you enjoy the video.

Thanks for visiting.

White with 1 July colour challenge - Scrapbook layout "Treasure"

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout created for the July challenge at White with 1.

My Layout: "Treasure"

I don't think I got the colour quite right this month so if I'm not eligible for judging - that's OK,
but I wanted to share because I love how this one turned out!

I started with a stamped and embossed background then painted watercolour over the top.
I used turquiose acrylic paint through a stencil (which in hindsight I should have
dulled down with some white).
Some whipped spackle through a stencil, paper cluster and lots of textural elements to finish the page!

Thanks for visiting.

--- Scrapbook Boutique DT --- June 10 Challenge reveal - Mixed Media canvas + process video

Hi Scrap Friends

Welcome to the June challenge at

Here is this month's moodboard:

I knew straight away what I was going to create for this challenge.
Monchrome is one of my favourite ways to create.

I've wanted to do a mixed media canvas for a while now after being inspired by Cindy Porter
(Her Blog: Cindy Porter)

I got to play with some really awesome products for this canvas so I hope you're
inspired to play along this month.

As always, I've got a process video for you to check out this project.
