Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets.

"Dad & Me"

we've just had Fathers Day in Australia so this chippie is perfect.

I've treated my chippie as follows:

1 x layer of white gesso

1 x layer of Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Peacock Feathers"

1 x layer of Ranger Glossy Accents

This layout is quite minimalist for me - Paper, stickers, stitching and letting the title, photo and journalling speak for themselves.

My next share will be a mixed media piece with a process video too, so don't forget to pop back next week to check it out!!!

Anniversary celebration.

My Layout "Fun"

I started by choosing some bright patterned papers and then took my colour cues from there.
Here is the inspiration sketch.

Once I knew what papers I was using, I chose a photo and created the layout.

I like this page, because it has such a story element to it.
The photo doesn't give the memory justice so the journalling was important on this page!

Today is my day over on the Off the Rails Scrapbooking

blog to share a tutorial.

I've created this layout and made a process video.

"Courage"

My inspiration came from the green sparkling lips - I've used whipped spackle through a stencil

and then added lime green sparkle embossing powder and heat set.

I also wanted to include some of the inspiration words to cover the journalling for this photo.

What an honour it was to be asked to be a Special Investigator at Color Stories Inspiration (CSI)

I've been joining their challenges and have really enjoyed the Case Files.

Today I'm sharing my project for the September 1st Case File

My Layout "Reading"

Here is the case file to play along with:

All you have to do is include all the colours from the scheme.

3 x evidence clues & 

1 x testimony clue.

The sketch is optional but fun to use.

CSI also offer great prizes to win if your layout is chosen throughout the month.
