123 Challenge Blog February - "Best of Friends" scrapbook layout

Hello Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout created for the February challenge at

My layout "Best of Friends"

This month we were challenged to use the colour red, the word Friends and flowers on our layout.

February 123 Challenge

I've done some stash/scrap busting to complete this page.

I started with the kraft/red spotted Kaisercraft background paper.
I decided to trim the pieces because I didn't want a whole page of kraft background.

Then I applied a layer of white gesso with a spatula.
My background is combined of flower stickers, stamping, ribbon,
My photo cluster is made up of left overs from my stash.

My flower element is stickers instead of paper flowers - just for something different.

I'm really pleased with how this one turned out.

Thanks for visiting.

--- A2Z Scraplets DT --- "Dude" Scrapbook layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout for A2Z Scraplets

My layout "Dude"

This is a very photo light layout but I'm so pleased with the monochromatic feel of this page.

I've used the

Spotty Circles Set of 4

They've been treated with a combination of white and turquoise embossing powder.
The large turquoise circle has been raised up with mounting tape to help lift it off the page.

I've also lightly embellished with a Project Life card, trimmed to fit the circle and flowers and flair.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

White with 1 December challenge Scrapbook Layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Today I'd like to share a new layout created for the challenge at
White with 1

My layout "What a Day"

What a fun colour to have for December.

You could easily create a Christmas page this month
but I decided not to.

I started by creating my background and then looking for a photo.

I like how this photo is bright and includes that flash of green.

My background is acrylic paint, spread with an old rewards card.
Modelling paste through a stencil.
I've used the same stencil as a reverse stamp with chalk edger and water.

Really happy with this page.

Thanks for visiting.

--- Scrapbook Boutique DT --- October 10 Moodboard challenge reveal scrapbook layout + process video

Hi Scrap Friends

Welcome to the October challenge at

Here is this month's moodboard:

So many ways to be inspired - colour, texture and even butterflies.

Here is my interpretation. "Fly"

I've used Lots of Tim Holtz mediums to create my background.
The inspiration came from the ombre blue/purple part of the  moodboard.
The photo I chose was also to reflect the theme of "butterfly"

--- Off the Rails Scrapbooking DT --- March Challenge Reveal layout

Hi Scrap Friends

Welcome...

Today I'm sharing a layout inspired by the March moodboard at

I really think you'll love this months moodboard!

Here is my layout:
"Relax"

Inspired by the word I've chosen a pic of Master Z kicking back while camping at Easter.
I've also used the colours and done some stash busting with all paper layers coming from my stash.

Also wanted to share how easy it is to scrap. I started this page while spending time at a local dam on Australia Day. I sent the boys out fishing in the boat and spent a lovely hour scrapping surrounded by nature ... Ahhh, Bliss!

If you haven't stopped by to check it out yet, it's a must this month.

I've got a new layout and process video for this moodboard coming up soon.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout inspired by the Summer Fiesta moodboard

"Hello Sunshine"

This layout includes some spray mist and water colour background.
I've used the chipboard word, doily, flowers, straw and twine from the JAP kit.

The chipboard word is covered with the washi tape from the JAP kit and the
"Sunshine" is painted with watercolour.

Here is the inspiration board from D'Lish

I would definitely recommend the Just Add Paper kit as they are awesome.

Sassy Scrappers May Moodboard - Scrapbooking layout "Celebrate"

Hello Scrap Friends

Today I'm sharing a layout for Sassy Scrappers May moodboard.
Last challenge for the month as I am concentrating my efforts on catching up with my project life album.
Might share some in the future

 "Celebrate"

This month's Sassy moodboard is so pretty and there are so many ways to be inspired.

I chose to use the black and white striped tablecloth with blue as my colour inspiration.
The cake in the top right also looked delicious
so I chose a photo of Master C on his first birthday, tucking into a cupcake!

Thanks for stopping by.
